Climate (45_climate)

Description

The climate module provides information about the present climate classes in the different cells (as shares of the total cell). This information is used by other modules to choose climate class dependent factors such as growth parameters correctly (e.g. used in 35_natveg).

(j, clcl)
Koeppen-Geiger climate classification on the simulation cluster level \(1\)

Realizations

(A) static

In this realization climate classification information remains static over the whole simulation based on data for 1976-2000 taken from http://koeppen-geiger.vu-wien.ac.at/shifts.htm (Rubel and Kottek (2010)).
